Vehicle collision on Boiling Springs Road leaves 1 dead

Lexington County Corner Margaret Fisher has identified one person who died in a multi-vehicle accident around 7:37 a.m. on Oct. 1. 

52-year-old Nita Lynn Regino was traveling north on Longview Street when she attempted to turn left onto Boiling Springs Road.

Regino was then struck by a vehicle traveling east on Boiling Springs Road. She was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the collision. Regino was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, according to the press release.

The Lexington County Corner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate this incident.
