VETERANS DAY

HONORING ALL WHO SERVED

Posted

The Lexington Veterans Parade rolled through downtown on Nov. 7. The parade line was shorter than in years past, taking place in front of what looked to be a diminished turnout. 93-year-old veteran Stephen Moses was out with his grandchildren who flanked him with signs. His granddaughter said he served in Europe during the U.S. occupation of Germany. Among the people marching in the parade were members of the Military Timeline Group and a veteran with a puppet. World War II veteran Murray Price and Korean War veteran Hugh Rodgers were the grand marshals. (VAL AUGUSTINE | CHRONICLE)
