Was it a rain tax or a fee?

Tax versus fee is just one of many errors in the Chronicle’s reporting on the county’s storm water proposal. A tax cannot be levied against all property owners (schools, churches, etc) where a fee can be so it is much more equitable than a tax.

The biggest error is where you reported the fee was to be spent and how.

The Chronicle is not a news outlet but an opinion outlet. You say you are open to the truth but that is not the case. If you were, you would write a fact-based article.

Thank you for the clarification.
