Summer flew by and now it is time for school to start.
Most students are recharged and ready to start a new year.
Times have changed for our schools. Gilbert Elementary hours: 7:30 am to 2:20 pm, Gilbert Middle 8:10 am to 3:20 pm and Gilbert High 8:35 am to 3:45 pm. This may help with your commute.
GILBERT SCOUTS Pack 60’s annual Family Fun Night last week was at their Scout Hut. Pack 60 Scouts, their families and friends enjoyed games, a derby race, camping and axe demonstrations and grilled hot dogs and yummie desserts.
GILBERT’S Blessing Boxes are always in need of donations of nonperishable food and personal hygiene products. Boxes are at Beulah United Methodist Church and the Gilbert-Summit IGA. You can donate anytime you wish.
BEULAH UNITED METHODIST Church’s Red Cross blood drive is 2-7 pm Aug. 26. For information go to www.redcrossblood.org and click “BeulahGives.”
