West Columbia Police Sgt. Trip Holland and his family are asking for your help.
His baby needs an operation.
Noah and his twin brother were born at 32 weeks on Nov. 18. After their arrival, doctors learned that Noah has esophageal atresia (EA) and tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF), an abnormal connection of the trachea and esophagus. His esophagus doesn’t connect to his stomach.
He received a repair on Nov. 19, at less than 24 hours old, but suffered a collapsed windpipe. This requires surgery offered only at Boston Children’s Hospital.
A fundraiser to help with medical expenses is Saturday, March 6, and Sunday March 7, at Calloway’s Sports Bar & Grill. Dinners are $10 each and you can pre-order.
Calloway’s is at 2410 Augusta Rd, West Columbia, in the Danwood Shopping Center, behind Sonic.
