The Chick-fil-A distribution center in West Columbia is hiring.

With a starting hourly pay of $19.75, Chick-fil-A Supply, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chick-fil-A, promised an $80 million investment into the area along with the creation of 165 jobs back in 2022.

“Founded in 2020, Chick-fil-A Supply supplements Chick-fil-A’s distribution network and allows the company to maintain greater flexibility within its supply chain,” according to the Office of the Governor. “Chick-fil-A Supply is an innovative distribution service provider focused on understanding and meeting the unique needs of Chick-fil-A restaurants.”

The distribution center is located in the Saxe Gotha Industrial Park in West Columbia alongside Nephron Pharmaceuticals, Nephron Nitrile, Dominion Energy, Amazon facilities and the future sites of Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and Cardiff Products USA LLC, according to the county.

The job listing details a four-day workweek consisting of four to 10-hour shifts, as operating hours are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Applicants must have at least a high school diploma.

“The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts,” according to the listing.

Benefits include free lunch, snacks and drinks during the workday, up to three weeks of accrued PTO during the first year of employment with access to 40 hours upon being hired, and more, including health insurance options and a retirement plan.
