West Columbia's Art on State beautified even the asphalt

West Columbia’s 7th Annual Art on State gave locals a chance to celebrate art and music with a beer in hand.
On Friday, May 9, parts of State Street were blocked off, making space for live muralists, vendors and performances from Seven til Sunrise and High Society Band.
Sidewalk chalk was available for kids wanting to help local artists beautify the area, even the asphalt.
Local artists included Michael Krajewski, Dre Lopez, Lucas Sams, Alicia Leeke, Kristin Holzer, Laura Day, Dylan Fouste and Shaina Manuel.
