Where to get Christmas trees in Lexington County

Fall festivities are coming to an end, which means Christmas is right around the corner. Not sure where to find this year’s Christmas tree? Whether you’re going all out, keeping it simple or starting a new tradition, Lexington County tree farms offer several options for finding the perfect Christmas tree with a curated experience. Here are some:

Hollow Creek Tree Farm
228 Windmill Rd., Gilbert, S.C. 29054

Located just outside Lexington, Hollow Creek Tree Farm has served local families since 1978. With 11 varieties of Christmas trees available, visitors are likely to find one that fits their holiday needs. Guests can also stop by the gift shop to purchase fresh wreaths with custom bows, holiday trinkets and enjoy a complimentary cup of hot chocolate or coffee. Leashed pets are welcome.

Price’s Christmas Tree Farm

Price’s Christmas trees have not only been decorated with festive lights and ornaments over the years—they have also won ribbons at the South Carolina State Fair. The farm offers Leyland Cypress, Murray Cypress, Red Cypress, Variegated Cypress and Jolly Green Giant varieties. Visitors can stop by the cabin on their way out to purchase an ornament, snacks or local honey.

Draft’s Tree Farm

Draft’s Tree Farm is a local favorite not only for trees but also for Christmas photos, which can be taken on-site by appointment. This “cut-your-own” farm offers Murray Cypress and Carolina Sapphire trees. Staff assistance is available for those who prefer not to cut their own tree.

Cedar Ridge Tree Farm

Cedar Ridge Tree Farm offers more than Christmas trees—it provides a festive family experience. Guests can enjoy warm refreshments, roast marshmallows by the fire pit, and rely on the farm’s “lumberjacks” to cut down their selected tree if they prefer not to saw it themselves. Don’t leave empty-handed and stop by the farm’s boutique gift shop to remember the experience.
