Lexington is nearing completion of new smart signal plan.
Notorious for traffic, Lexington came up with a computerized traffic light system to help speed the flow.
The final phase of the adaptive traffic lights are starting to be installed, the town said Thursday.
The signals monitor traffic in real-time and make adjustments based on what’s going on.
Soon every town maintained traffic light will have this technology.
