The LMC Foundation Board has approved 32 Internal Grant requests submitted by hospital departments for FY 2019. Newly-funded projects include:

• Leeza’s Care Connection – LCC would like to offer a unique and exclusive satellite support and enrichment program to current residents and families at Carroll Campbell Place (CCP).

• Communication Boards – Provides preprinted communication boards in the Critical Care Unit to patients on ventilators to facilitate communication.

• Blessing Bags – For all newly diagnosed cancer patients the bags consist of nonperishable items like eye masks, notebooks, lip balm, and knit beanies to be used during cancer treatments, hospital stays, and physician visits.
