Oktoberfest: Oct. 20, 6-9 p.m., St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 403 Park Road, Lexington. Eat in or take out brats, German potato salad, kraut, red cabbage, peppers and onions, etc. If you plan to come, call the church office Friday, 8 a.m.-noon. Proceeds benefit Ecuador and local missions and Mission Lexington (LICS).

Adopt-A-Cop Fall Festival: Oct. 23, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Lexington Town Hall, 111 Maiden Lane, Lexington. Night of family fun featuring games, food, costume contests, rides, and more. Cost is $5 per person or $20 per family.

Fall Back Fest: Nov. 2, 6 p.m.-9 p.m. on the 100 Block of State St in West Columbia. Live music, food and beverages, art and more.

Fall Fest: Oct. 20 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Meador Acres, 5525 Fish Hatchery Rd, Pelion. Enjoy a walking tour of the Chestnut trees. Learn about chestnuts, honeybees, and more. Visit the farm ducks, chickens, and numerous local vendors. Start Christmas shopping early! There will be yard games for adults and a bounce house for the kids. The Curbside Addiction food truck will be on site for lunch. No pets, please.

Fall Festival: Oct. 27, 3 p.m. at Beulah UMC 161 Beulah Church Rd, Gilbert. Enjoy rides, games, foods, prizes, candy and a hayride. Fun for the whole family!

You’ll also learn how to keep your baby safe, deal with relatives, and provide the help new moms need. Veteran dads bring their babies and you’ll get hands-on practice. DRACULA: Columbia City Ballet presents Ballet with a Bite Oct. 26-27, 7 p.m., Koger Center, Columbia. Costume contest Oct. 27 only with prizes. Proceeds benefit the ballet’s Educational Outreach Programs as well as the preservation of our performance sets and costumes.
