Three drug traffickers in Lexington County will begin serving their lengthy prison sentences following their convictions in court.

21-year-old Jakob Regan Dator pled guilty to trafficking fentanyl between four and 14 grams. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison by Judge Milton G. Kimpson.

Per South Carolina law, trafficking fentanyl is a violent crime, so Dator is not eligible for parole. He was previously convicted on the charges of robbery and criminal conspiracy.

After law enforcement began investigating who was part of a series of fentanyl as pressed pills sales, they were able to conduct a controlled buy from Dator on July 31, 2023.

When he was arrested, officers discovered 500 multi-colored pills that were then shown through testing to be fentanyl.

52-year-old Gaston resident Christina Lindemuth pled guilty to trafficking methamphetamine. She was sentenced to 19 years in prison by Judge Walton McLeod IV. Lindemuth will not be eligible for parole.

Lindemuth was arrested on June 16, 2022 after West Columbia police were made aware of drug paraphernalia being found in a hotel room that Lindemuth was seen entering while carrying a safe.

After obtaining a search warrant, law enforcement officers found more than 200 grams of methamphetamine as well as Lindemuth’s South Carolina identification and her financial papers.

39-year-old West Columbia resident Bradford Scott Price pled guilty to the charges of trafficking methamphetamine more than 14 grams but less than 100 grams and trafficking fentanyl between four and 14 grams. Price has had numerous convictions for drug and property-related crimes. He was currently on probation at the time of his arrest.

He was also sentenced by Judge McLeod IV to nine years in prison. Price is not eligible for parole.

Price was arrested on Nov. 8, 2023 after law enforcement had conducted controlled buys and a narcotics investigation at his residence before executing a search warrant where they found more than 35 grams of methamphetamine and over eight grams of fentanyl.

“The dangers of illegal narcotics, such as fentanyl and methamphetamine, continue to pose a grave risk to members of our community, especially young people who may not realize that a counterfeit pill contains a lethal dose of fentanyl,” Eleventh Circuit Solicitor Rick Hubbard said in the press release. “We are grateful to narcotics investigators for their efforts to rid Lexington County of these illegal substances.”

Price, Lindemuth and Dator have all been taken to the S.C. Department of Corrections to begin their sentences.
