The Greater Cayce–West Columbia Chamber of Commerce has honored Former West Columbia Mayor Bobby Horton with its Lifetime Achievement Award.

Also honored at the 2020 Awards Dinner at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel were:

• Small Business of the Year – The Comet, Central Midlands Transit – accepting was Pamela Bynoe-Reed and Lexington County Council woman Deb Summers.

• Business of the Year - Nephron Pharmaceuticals – accepting was Lindsey Miles

• Citizen of the Year - Joe Taylor

• Local Volunteer of the Year - Melissa Sprouse Browne

• Lexington 2 Student of the Year - Marcus Gadsden

• Lexington 2 Teacher of the Year - Jennifer Eskridge

• Lexington 4 Student of the Year - Abigail Kasselt

• Lexington 4 Teacher of the Year - Angela Farris

• Student Volunteer of the Year - Joseph Buchmeir of Brookland-Cayce High School
