Did you know women hold just a quarter of all STEM jobs in America? More than 70 students attended a STEM summit, hosted by Junior Achievement, Dominion Energy and the Lexington Technology Center Feb. 20. The goal was to increase those numbers by introducing girls to careers in science, technology, engineering and math fields. The students enjoyed engineering activities and heard from women from around the Midlands who work in STEM careers.
