St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner.

How do you plan to celebrate? Some celebrations may still look a bit different from years past. However you choose to spend the day, we hope you and your friends always find a sober driver to get you home safely.

Don’t wait until it’s too late. Designate your ride home before the celebratory drinks start flowing.

Being prepared with a ridesharing service, taxi or sober friend is the best way to ensure your night ends smoothly.

If you’re the designated driver, know that people are counting on you to get them transported safely. Take this responsibility seriously.

During the 2019 St. Patrick’s Day weekend alone (6 pm March 16 to 5:59 am March 18), more than 3 out of 5 (63%) crash fatalities involved a drunk driver (NHTSA).

That’s why we’re working with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to remind drivers that impaired driving is not only illegal, it is a matter of life and death.

Even one drink is too many when you’re planning to drive.

Not only is it dangerous to drive while under the influence, it can cost you. You may receive jail time, | have to pay a fee or both.

Getting a DUI means there could be court costs, attorney fees, higher insurance rates, you could lose your license and more!

Don’t risk it, choose to be prepared.

Drive sober or get pulled over.
