The 2019 McDaniels Golf Classic raised $660,520, a record-high in the event’s 27-year history, to benefit the Lexington Medical Center Foundation.
Funds will support the Campaign for Clarity, an effort to save lives through the early detection of breast cancer with 3-D mammography.
“We are so proud that this event helps us make 3-D mammography a priority for all patients at Lexington Medical Center,” said Barbara Willm, vice president of Development and Community Relations at Lexington Medical Center. “This technology will have a significant impact on the health of our community.”
Hosted by Bill McDaniels (McDaniels Automotive Group) and Suzanne Pucci (Stanley Steemer), the McDaniels Golf Classic included a gala attended by more than 600 guests on Wednesday, April 24 at Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center and a sold out golf tournament on Friday, April 26 at Fort Jackson Golf Club.
