Garner finished with 11 points in the 63-55 loss. The Irmo girls’ basketball team held an alumni game on Dec. 28. The Lady Yellow Jackets placed 3rd at the Crescom Bank Invitational in Myrtle Beach. Lexington guard Alexis Sexton pulls up for 2 of her game-high 25 points for the Lady Wildcats at the “Showcase” game on Jan. 4. The Chapin boys’ basketball team placed 2nd at their Claw Classic tournament after losing 44-42 to North Charleston in the final. The White Knoll boys’ basketball team placed 3rd at the Poinsetta Classic held in Greenville after going 2-1 in the tournament. The Lexington High School boys’ basketball team won the Modie Risher Classic in Charleston for the 2nd time in 3 seasons. The Wildcats defeated Military Magnet, Summerville and host team Burke in the final. Lexington’s Adin Daniels (2nd to left) was named to the Modie Risher Classic All-Tournament team.
