Summer Reading Program kids who finished can stop by the library for a bag of goodies and a free book of their choice through August 31.

The Pelion library recommends the following book for adult thriller reading. “The Marriage Lie” by Kimberly Belle. Iris and Will have been married for 7 years and were a happy couple until Will flies out for a business trip to Florida.

Or chose “The Wife” by Alafair Burke. Marrying an economics professor she met while catering an East Hampton dinner party, Angela finds her tragic past coming under scrutiny as she is asked to defend her husband against wrongful accusations.

For young adults, the library recommends “Get Dirty (Don’t Get Mad, #2)” by Gretchen McNeil. After forming a secret society that takes revenge on school bullies, mean girls and tyrannical teachers, 4 very different teenage girls must discover the killer who is coming after them and the ones they love.
