Protestors oppose Antifa violence

Evidence suggests extremists have tried to turn peaceful protests into violence.

But in many cases the protesters have opposed the rioting and looting.

Numerous social media posts and videos show African American protesters objecting to rioting by White men clad in black.

In Oakland, White men in black and armed with hammers were breaking into a building despite African American opposition.

One video shows Baltimore African American protesters begging White men in black to stop rioting.

Protesters in Washington tackled an “Antifa rioter” who was hammering the pavement for concrete to throw and handed him over to the police.

US Attorney General William Barr said the violence appears to be “planned, organized and driven by far-left extremist groups and anarchic groups using Antifa-like tactics.”

Journalist Andy Ngo said the destruction of businesses isn’t only opportunism but is tied to Antifa ideology to “abolish capitalism. To do that, they have to make economic recovery impossible.”

Gabriel Nadales, a former Antifa member, said to be a part of Antifa you must:

1. Share their violent ideology and be willing to fight for them at any turn.

2. Actually do it. “It’s not just about having anti-conservative beliefs,” he said.

On May 27, the Democratic Socialists of America called for supplies for “comrades” protesting in Minneapolis. An AutoZone store was set ablaze amid widespread looting.

DSA chapters in Minneapolis. Seattle, Memphis, Los Angeles and Atlanta have called for donations.

Other communist groups, such as the Workers World Party, have backed the protests while the Revolutionary Communist Party, called for an “actual revolution.”

Liberation News, a newspaper of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, wrote it’s critical to “sharpen our resolve to build organizations capable of waging militant class struggle.”
