SAFE runners continue day 3 of a 7-day running and cycling marathon. The group SAFE Lexington, which stands for “streets are for everyone,” formed last spring after Lexington County runners John Flanagan and Dianne Wells were hit and killed less than 2 years apart. SAFE Lexington promotes safety among drivers, cyclists, runners and pedestrians who share the streets of Lexington. Find out more at www. facebook.com/ SAFElexington/
