This Sunday, Feb. 3, is not only Super Bowl Sunday, it’s “Souper Bowl Sunday,” where churches collect canned goods that are passed along to local charities and food banks. If your house of worship is participating, don’t forget to take a few cans with you to church on Sunday before that other big Super Bowl game.
Valentine events will be covered in this space next week. iI you are planning something in the Red Bank area and want it mentioned, shoot me an email, thanks.
Happy birthday this week to Allison Thompson, Larry Keisler, Frances Jenkins, Rev. Linda Dunn, and Bruce Brown.
