Thank you, Lexington County

Belize Baseball ministers to boys and girls in the Toledo District in Belize. Started by West Columbia resident Sybil Jarrells, in 3 years it has grown from a group of boys who wanted to play little league baseball with only 2 bats, 2 balls and 2 gloves to now 36 equipped teams.

This Lexington County ministry has little involvement from outside the county. Thanks to the Chronicle, the Lexington County Blowfish, West Metro Rotary Club, Trey Love and the generous, caring people of the county almost 500 kids are involved in the program.

Ralph Jarrells, West Columbia
