Has political slanting of news cost the misinformation media its credibility even at the US Supreme Court? Perhaps so.

Eric Robinson of the UofSC Journalism School reports a new study in the NC Law Review shows an apparent decline in the Supreme Court’s view of the media.

The study examined all of the court’s official decisions from 1798 to July 2020. It concludes that “the vilification of the press by the political branches ... is matched by a marked and previously undocumented uptick in negative depictions of the press by the US Supreme Court.”
