The pumpkin patch is opening

If it’s fall, that means it is pumpkin time, right? One of the best local pumpkin patches is run by Red Bank United Methodist Church. It opens Saturday, Oct. 3.

It is not at the church but on open land across I-20 on the left as you head to Lexington.

They’ll have various sizes and prices. Hours are Saturdays 10 am - 8 pm, Sundays 1 - 8 pm and 2 - 8 pm weekdays. Call 803-359-4031 for more information.

FRIDAY NIGHT was to big for the White Knoll Timberwolves. At their first at-home game they were to play the rival Lexington Wildcats. But this game has been moved to October 30.

CUB SCOUT Pack 518 is recruiting scouts 6 - 10, 1st - 5th grades. They meet Tuesdays 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm at Red Bank United Methodist Church. Call 803- 359-4031.
