Two men were charged Monday morning with trafficking crack cocaine after a traffic stop in Gaston. Around 11

Around 11 am, an officer on patrol observed a vehicle with an expired tag.

The officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the occupants — Rodney Keeter and Travas Jones.

During a lawful search of the vehicle, 20 grams of cocaine base “crack cocaine” was located near the center console. Keeter was arrested for trafficking cocaine base 1st offense. Jones was arrested for trafficking cocaine base 3rd offense.
