Batesburg-Leesville plans a special election for 2 town council seats Tuesday, November 27.
Linda Deloach, District 1, and Jim Mitchell, District 6, resigned after moving out of their districts, the Twin City News reported.
Residents can vote for their district representative from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
The filing period for the special election starts at noon Friday and runs through noon, Sept. 24, according to Lexington County Director of Registration and Elections Dean Crepes.
Filing forms can be found at www.scvotes.org . Those wishing to file must reside in the district they hope to represent.
