In January, Chapin said goodbye to the beloved Coach Sullivan, whose life impacted many students in his 46 years of teaching at Chapin High School. The hard drive in my Mac laptop also decided to go to cyberspace heaven last week. I did back up my hard drive 2 months ago, but lost my notes for this week’s column, so I apologize if I missed anything.

The Irmo Chapin recreation center celebrates its 50-year anniversary in 2019. Special events will be held throughout the year at the park and centers throughout the year. Happy Anniversary to our wonderful recreation centers!

Congratulations to the Shepherd’s Center of St. Andrews’ new Executive Director, Arnold Breman.
