What’s new at the cat sanctuary

Posted

Avalo Cat Sanctuary near Wagener has finished another huge enclosure for all of its outside felines. It has plenty of ledges built in for the cats to rest on and enjoy the sun, a large play area and even a cute tunnel to go in and out of.

To see the newest addition, go to their Facebook page, Avalo Cat Sanctuary, and watch the cats have fun. Remember that Avalo Cat Sanctuary is a 501c3 non-profit in need of donations to help the cats.

Contact the Quail if you want to help out at my email address listed above.

The Quail also wants to hear of any of your recent flood stories or details of any interesting things that you encountered during the last one. To share one with you, I was driving down Fish Hatchery road last Saturday morning when I came across a river of water flowing across the road. I have lived here since 2006 and I have never experienced something like this. The woods and people’s yards looked like small lakes.

The Quail hopes nobody had too much damage during this past event.

Until next week, fly safely, my friends.
