Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher on June 11 identified the individual who died as a result of being struck in the 2400 block of Augusta Road at approximately 11 pm on June 10.
According to Coroner Fisher, Donna Lee Barnes, 64, of West Columbia, was attempting to cross the roadway when she was struck by a vehicle traveling towards West Columbia. She was pronounced deceased at the scene due to injuries sustained. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
