OUR CONDOLENCES to the friends, family, and students of Staci Blakely, a 3rd grade teacher at Carolina Springs Elementary who passed away Saturday from covid-19 complications. A 28-year veteran teacher who touched a lot of student and parent lives in her career, she’ll be missed.

GIRL SCOUT cookie season is early this winter. Door to door sales start on Wednesday so look for your local Daisy, Brownie, Junior, or Cadet Girl Scout in Red Bank. Due to covid, the Girl Scouts are allowing online and social media postings for sales. You can order and pay online and your Girl Scout will deliver to your door, no contact required. A new cookie this year, the Toast-Yay!, is a “French Toast inspired cookie with icing on the back.” I’m sold, how about you?
