Airport to get new industrial park project

Posted

Magnus Development plans a new speculative industrial park at Columbia Metropolitan Airport.

803 Industrial Park will total nearly 1 million square feet, with ground breaking for the 204,120-square-foot Building 1 planned in 2021.

The park is near UPS regional air and ground hubs and a Norfolk Southern rail terminal, within a mile of I-26 and within 2 hours of the Port of Charleston.

Magnus Development partner Kevin Werner called it the areas’ most versatile industrial development.

Building 1 will feature a 130-foot deep truck court, up to 57 dock-high doors, 72 trailer drop spaces, 32-foot clear heights and LED lighting. The building will be subdividable for users needing as little as 34,020 square feet.

Plans call for 3 other buildings, 1 up to 204,120 square feet. The other 2 are 408,240 square feet and 157,500 square feet.

Colliers International will work with the airport marketing team on leasing.
