Cayce City Council election Tuesday
3 candidates in running for open seat
Three candidates are in the running for the District 1 Cayce City Council Seat.
They are Tiffany Aull, Tim James and Megan Lightle, according to Mary Brack, Director of the Lexington County Registration and Elections office.
The election for the office is Tuesday.
Tara S. Almond, the current District 1 representative, has resigned from council. Her term is set to expire in November 2021.
Cayce City Council, in the past, has held its municipal elections in even-numbered years. But those elections were moved to odd-numbered years in 2019, like other Lexington County municipalities.
