Daniel Terence Gregory, 51, of Lexington, faces 8 charges connected to the sexual exploitation of minors.
Investigators received CyberTipline reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) which led them to Gregory. Investigators state Gregory distributed and possessed files of child sexual abuse material.
Gregory was arrested on April 15. He is charged with 1 count of sexual exploitation of a minor, 2nd degree, a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years impris onment; and 7 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, 3rd degree, a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count.
This case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest.
Investigators with the SC Attorney General’s Office, also a member of the state’s ICAC Task Force, assisted with the investigation.
