Chronicle intern is state track finalist

Cole Stilwell, Chronicle intern and The World Outdoors columnist, is a senior at Gray Collegiate Academy and a member of their track team. At the 2AA regional meet in Batesburg-Leesville last week, Cole finished 2nd in the mile and half mile against some tough competition. This qualified him to participate in the Upstate finals at Liberty High School in two weeks. LaTrell Kelley of Eau Claire HS took 1st place, and Gilbert Elkins of Batesburg-Leesville took 3rd.
