The Georgia State commit opened his senior campaign with 180 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns in the win over 2nd ranked Camden. Over at Lugoff-Elgin, Cook accounted for 3 scores as well in the 28-7 win. With his father, inside linebacker head coach Andre Cook serving as acting head coach (C. Blair Hardin was home for covid-19 protocols), the younger Cook returned a fumble off a blocked punt for a touchdown and caught 2 touchdowns.
