Ft. Jackson receives 6 new pavilions

Posted

Fort Jackson is turning 100.

To commemorate the fort’s 100th anniversary, the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina and the Building Industry Charitable Foundation held the Ribbon Cutting and Dedication of the Pavilions at Centennial Park May 21.

The BIA is gifting 6 pavilions to the Fort’s new Centennial Park valued at over $200,000.

This partnership with the Building Industry Charitable Foundation will provide meeting places for the thousands of graduating trainees and their families who gather at the Fort almost every week.
