Revolution of 1719 Exhibit: Mon-Sat 8:30 am-5 pm from Dec. 18 through Sept. 2020 at SC Archives & History Center, 8301 Parklane Road, Columbia. “To preserve us from utter ruine.” Learn about the bloodless revolution which occurred in Charles Town in 1719. It had profound impact on SC history which reverberates to this day. No admission fee required. Presented by the SC Archives and History Foundation and the SC Department of Archives and History with the support of South Carolina Humanities.

Elections: Lexington County Elections and Registration is looking for Poll Clerks and Poll Managers to fill positions throughout the county for 2020. Elections are Feb. 29 - Presidential Preference Primary (Democratic), Jun. 9 - Statewide primaries, Nov. 3 - General election. HEALTH FAIR: Feb. 17, 7:30-9:30 am, St. John’s Lutheran Church, 213 St. John’s Church rd., Lexington. Lexington Medical Center will perform free screenings for cholesterol/lipid profile, glucose, and blood pressure. A simple blood test can determine the results of each component to your screening, except for blood pressure. During the 12 hours before the tests, do not eat any food or drink any liquid except water. Take any medications except those that must be taken with food. 18 years or older welcome.
