The Pelion FFA Soil Classification and Land Treatment Team placed first in the State Competition. As a result of this win, the team has earned the opportunity to represent South Carolina and Pelion High at the International Land Judging Contest in Oklahoma City in early May. The SC FFA Association provides the team with $1,500 for expenses, but this falls far short of the cost of this trip. If you would like to help sponsor this opportunity, please send a check made payable to “Pelion FFA’ to 600 Lydia Drive, Pelion, SC 29123, Attention Frank Stover. For more information please feel free to call 803-609-1424.
