How the radicals are misleading our kids

changing times

I pity today’s young because of:

• The unconscionable debt our government officials are leaving them.

• The sexual confusion that the obliteration of males and females as separate and distinct genders has caused.

• The emasculation of men, the de-feminization of women and the undermining of the value of marriage.

• The lack of God and religion in their lives – and the consequent search for meaning in the wrong places.

• The left wing indoctrination rather than education in many public schools and being unable to celebrate being an American.

Tragically and ironically, each one of these was brought on by the group many young people identify with, the left.

You can add the left’s tearing down of heroes to the list. This came to mind last month, when astronaut Scott Kelly, who spent a year on board the International Space Station, commented on the deep divisions in American politics: “One of the greatest leaders of modern times, Sir Winston Churchill, said, ‘In victory, magnanimity.’ I guess those days are over.”

He was attacked on social media for deeming the former British Prime Minister a great leader. To the left, Kelly is in league with the hateful, racist Churchill.

Understand that the left is a wholly destructive force whose primary mission is to tear down the leading institutions and individuals of the Western world.

To many young Americans, the Founding Fathers were not the giants you and I believe them to be. To the left, they were rich, racist, misogynistic white men.

Now it is Churchill’s turn to be trashed.

It means nothing to the left that he led the world in fighting the greatest racist of all time, Adolf Hitler, and the greatest racist ideology of all time, Nazism.

All that matters to the left is that he made race-based comments about English cultural (not racial) superiority and that he was allegedly complicit in the Bengal famine of 1943 in which up to 3 million Indians died.

The worst part of the Scott Kelly story is the astronaut’s immediate reaction to the negative tweets: “Did not mean to offend by quoting Churchill. I will educate myself further on his atrocities, racist views.” In Kelly’s view, Winston Churchill went from “one of the greatest leaders of modern times” to a man of “atrocities and racist views” he will further educate himself on.

Governmentspeak

This is a proposed municipal ordinance:

“Second Reading: Ordinance 2018-26 authorizing (1) the execution and delivery of a fee in lieu of tax and incentive agreement by and between Greenwood County, South Carolina (the “County”) and a company identified for the time being as Project Lamb, acting for itself, one or more affiliates and/or other project sponsors (collectively, the “Company”), pursuant to which the County shall covenant to accept certain negotiated fees in lieu of ad valorem taxes with respect to the establishment and/or expansion of certain facilities in the County (collectively, the “Project”);”
