Drive-up and sign-up meetings are a safe way for parents to sign their daughters and sons up for Scouts. A meeting will be Thursday, Sept. 24, at Gilbert Middle School 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Parents will learn about Scouting programs and the application process. A new Scouts BSA Troop for girls is forming in Gilbert.

Beulah United Methodist Church invites the community to their annual garage sale. They need items but not electronics. Bring donations to the church Monday, Sept. 28 at 9 am. The garage sale will be Oct. 1 to Oct. 3, 8 am to 3 pm.

“Run Hard” is back at Gilbert Middle School. Their Run Hard club is 8 weeks of running designed for health, fitness and character development. Gilbert Middle and Gilbert Elementary students will be equipped for a 5K race after training in October. The 5K run will be in December.
