Kids Build ‘Culture of Kindness’

Posted

Counselors and teachers in District 4 are creating a culture of kindness by providing opportunities to nurture attributes of benevolence, respect, and empathy. Teachers and students at Sandhills Primary and Elementary schools will lay the foundation of “Choosing Kindness” by reading R. J. Palacios’ We’re All Wonders . Counselors will provide school-wide quarterly events focused on kindness, and teachers may extend these learning opportunities in their classrooms. Pictured is Sandhills Primary student Annie Redd.
