If the kids are already bored on their summer vacation, check out the summer camps being offered at Red Bank United Methodist. These faith-based camps are for children 2 years old through 5th grade, Monday-Thursday from 8:30 until noon. There will be four weekly sessions of summer camp built around various themes. The first one starts June 10, “Under The Stars,” with an astronomy theme that includes an on-site planetarium. Visit www.rbumc.comfor information or call 359-4031.
Congratulations to the 2019 White Knoll High School graduates. They’ll be walking the stage at Colonial Life Arena June 7 at 8 am and starting the next chapter in their lives. Good luck!
With the second highest score of all three Scholastic Regional A rounds, the White Knoll High junior varsity guard won the Scholastic Regional A Round 3 title at the Winter Guard championships. WKHS scored 81.02, less than a point away from the highest total in the Scholastic Regional A competition.
Members include Carolina Springs Middle’s Drew M. Mahoney and Kaylee M. Starling, and White Knoll High’s Fiona A. Cheatham, D. Lily Dadisman, Leslie D. Gutierrez, Rebecca E. Hall, Olivia L. Herring, Graclyn J. Sharpe, Kayleigh E. Sims, Sarah N. Sullivan, Natalie T. Warren, Jesaya H. Wilson and Hallie T. Woods.
