Rain and more rain in the Midlands is causing yards to become squishy mud zones. The last time I remember rain like this was 2015.
Watery precipitation is good to store in a rain barrel for those flower beds and gardens in the spring. A Rain Barrel Workshop will be at Irmo Town Hall March 20, 8:45-12 pm. The $30 fee includes materials. The event is sponsored by Lexington County Community Development. For information call 803-785-8121.
