LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Thank you, P27 Sports Academy

There are always wonderful stories about people coming together to help others in times of storms or other tragic situations.

I want your readers to know of the huge contribution made by a group of young men from the P27 Sports Academy. Many, many people had large loads of brush and tree debris that they were hauling to the Recycle Center on Ball Park Road. When I pulled in with a large trailer loaded with tree debris, I was very pleasantly surprised when this group of young men started unloading my trailer as soon as I stopped. As I started to get out to help, their leader told me to just leave my gloves in the truck, they would be unloading my trailer. In a short time, I was on my way.

It is hard to give enough thanks to this impressive group of young men. I’m sure I echo the feelings of many other residents who had their trucks and trailers unloaded, when I say, “THANK YOU TO THE P27 SPORTS ACADEMY."
