There are resources and opportunities in Red Bank to receive help with food, or to help others who have food and other needs. Every Tuesday, 10-11 am, St. James Lutheran Church on South Lake Drive hosts a Food Pantry.

Red Bank United Methodist Church installed a “Blessing Box” a while back that’s stocked regularly with prepared, nonperishable foods and other items. Anyone in need can get what they want from it. Anyone wishing to donate can stock it themselves or drop off items at the church office. The box is next to the parking lot entrance on Old Barnwell Road to the left of the church buildings.

Little girls love tea parties, and Lexington Church of God’s “God’s Girls” program is hosting a big one January 26 at 11:30 am. Girls ages 3 through 5th grade can join them for a special tea party at the church. For more information, visit www.lexcog.com .

If you like real seafood, check out the new Chef Craw, just across I-20 on Glassmaster Road. New Orleans style seafood is their specialty, with crabs, alligator, and a full bar.

Congratulations to the following White Knoll High School students for earning All-State honors for guitar: Tristan Groscost, Reid Wooten, Cailey Williams and Zoe Kimble.
