Oh my hair!

Some of us may be a little “hair crazy” after months of salon shutdowns.

While many of us are making hair appointments, some don’t have the money to.

Here are some DIY hair tricks using common household items:

• Brunette with brassy hair color? Use grape Kool Aid to neutralize those warm hair tones. Use purple shampoo as well, you can buy this at your local beauty store.

• Add a drop or 2 of dish soap to your shampoo, this will help lighten the shade of the color in case you went too dark. Trust me, we have all been there.

• Spending a lot of time in a pool or ocean? Bring those blonde locks back to life by putting tomato juice in your hair for 20 minutes, then shampoo and rinse.

• Comb lemon juice throughout your hair for some highlights. Sit in the sunlight for 45 minutes. Repeat every 2 weeks until you achieve your results.

• Want easy curls? Divide wet hair into sections, and use socks to roll up the sections of hair and tie off. You may even sleep throughout the night with this process and remove the next morning for awesome curls.

I remember my mom when I was younger. doing this to my hair Don’t forget your hairspray!

• Need volume? Pour Coca-Cola on your hair, wrap your hair in towel and let dry. Voila! You have volume!
