Radio personality Jonathan Rush raises his hand in victory with Blowie and the “Golden Peanut” trophy after winning the 1st Media Celebrity Boiled Peanut Eating Contest. It was held Monday at the SC State Fair where event sponsor The Lexington County Blowfish are selling boiled peanuts provided by Rawl Farms of Lexington. The other competitors in the contest were Nic Jones of WLTX, Tyler Ryan of WOLO, and WIS Sports Anchor Rick Henry. The SC State Fair runs through Sunday.
