What looked to be thousands showed up for Chapin’s annual Labor Day parade. This year, there was a pirate theme, and many of the floats and attendees leaned into it with their decorations and costumes. After the parade ended, the town’s Labor Day Festival continued into its final day, with live music, food options, a children’s carnival area, a train museum, vendors from various places, a book sale and a car show.
