The Cayce-West Columbia O-Zone and Columbia Minors Dixie Youth Baseball teams won their respective District 4 championships on June 17 in Gaston and West Columbia. Cayce West Columbia will play in the state tournament in Moncks Corner on July 10, while the Minors will play in Union the same date. The Ozone team, ages 11-12, is led by manager Chris Bullis and coaches Jeramy Sightler and Drew Garner and players Sun Anderson, Tyler Brown, Rylan Bullis, Huck Crowder, Braden Gross, Caden Hatfield, George Kent, Sam Koon, Zay McLendon, Will Spotts, Noah Styron, Hunter Bowman, Ayden McCauley, Cullen Sightler and Lucas Tejada. The Columbia Minors are ages 9-10 and are led by manager Jason Powell and coaches Eddie Chavis and Terry Hildebrand and the players are Anthony Argoe, Jayvion Balthrope, Kolton Bolin, Christion Braxton, Alyssa Bullis Parker, Burge Terry Cantlow, Bentley Gray Logan, Hildebrand, Tanner Jones and Hunter Powell.
