Registration still ongoing for Online Reading Challenge

Posted

The start of the 2020 Lexington County Blowfish baseball season is tentatively 28 days away.

There is still time to take part now in the Blowie’s Online Reading Challenge.

Presented by the Lexington County Chronicle, Comporium, Lexington County Farm Bureau, and Dave & Buster’s, parents can register their children using the online registration form on goblowfish.com. Students are asked to read one (1) grade appropriate book each week for four (4) weeks.

Upon completion, the participating students will receive two (2) FREE tickets to a Blowfish game this season, as well as a free Blowie Snowie Shaved Ice and a complimentary game of speed pitch.

After the challenge ends in mid-May, there will be an online completion form that will need to be filled out to confirm the number of tickets needed for your student and family.

Parents can register their children by going to goblowfish.com.

The Blowfish are scheduled to open play May 28 at home against Gastonia.
